Iron (things out) while the strike is hot!

The Public and Commercial Services Union is on strike.  This might not be good news if you are in a hurry for a passport, but it has had one positive side effect for the millions of people who need to renew their applications for Working Tax Credit.  Due to the timing of the strike HMRC has been forced to extend its deadline of 31 July 2014 to 6 August.

It’s essential that you let them know of any changes to your circumstances before this new date, either online or by post, or you may end up owing money or missing out on credits owed to you.

Don’t delay it any longer!
